I am excited to share the latest photos from my first project in Serenbe, GA. This is a farmhouse on an estate lot that will be used as a primary residence. The homeowners are a young family looking to take advantage of the family-friendly lifestyle offered in the growing community of Serenbe. With strong inspiration images to guide us from the beginning, the farmhouse is intended to represent a relaxed compound of connected buildings. In doing so, a similar palette is used throughout, with varying uses of those materials as you move from volume to volume. Overall, the finished product will be a mix of European stucco walls, natural grey cypress siding, wood shingle roofing, blended with wood and iron windows.
Below are schematic elevations of the original house design concept. With some exceptions, this is generally how the house is intended to look when complete.
